Aasif Sheikh clarified that he actually fainted on March 18, not March 24 as previously thought. He shared this information in a media statement.

What really went down with Aasif Sheikh?

Aasif Sheikh, who is 60 years old, was filming in Dehradun when he experienced numbness in his foot. He referred to it as sciatica pain and needed treatment in Mumbai. Despite arriving in the city in a wheelchair, doctors recommended that he stay in bed to recover.

Earlier reports indicated that the actor received immediate care on set before being transported to Mumbai. Aasif was treated at a local hospital in Dehradun and was flown to Mumbai on March 24. A source informed The Indian Express that the actor collapsed due to fatigue.

When is Aasif Sheikh returning to the Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai set?

Aasif Sheikh will take another week off before returning to the sets. He mentioned in a media statement, "I hope to be back in front of the camera soon."

It's still unclear whether the shooting for Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai has paused due to the recent tragedies or if it's still ongoing. However, since Aasif has expressed his readiness to return, the production team might proceed without him for now. But don’t worry, it won’t be long before we see him back on screen.
