Aaram Aravinda Swamy’s Aniish’s life funda: Even if you fail, keep trying

Actor Aniissh has been in the film industry for a decade and a half, a time in which his Nam Areal Ond Dina co-star Rakshit Shetty, for instance, chartered a much more successful career path than the former. Happy about the growth Rakshit and Yash, among others who started off in the Kannada film industry around the same time, Aniissh says that he refuses to be unperturbed about the dips in his career graph.

Aniissh on the effect failure has on him

During the promotions of Aaram Aravinda Swamy, Aniissh said that he’s often asked about the failures he’s faced with his films and his response to it has always been, “So what? You have to keep trying, unless, of course, you have lost faith in yourself.” Aniissh cites the examples of Rakshit, Yash, Rishab Shetty, etc., all of who also had a fair share of failure before becoming pan-India stars. “Just because my friends have all done well in life and are miles ahead of me, I will not sit back and sulk. Instead, I see it as motivation to keep working until I crack the formula of success,” he says.

Aniissh adds that he steadfastly believes that failure is the stepping stone to success and is not scared of it anymore. “I have a PhD in failure. I look at the bright side of it, in terms of the lessons it taught me and keep marching on,” he says. Aaram Aravinda Swamy, in that sense, is the result of failure.

After a string of hardcore commercial films, including his last Benki, which was a wakeup call for him, the actor was on the lookout for what he considers is an out-of-the-box subject for him. Aaram Aravinda Swamy was a story that director Abhishek Shetty had written for himself, but ended up pitching to Aniissh, and the actor pounced on it. The film, which also stars Milana Nagaraj, Hrithik, Vijay Chendoor, among others, will be in theatres on November 22.
