Aanand L Rai on chances of a reunion with Shah Rukh Khan

In a chat with us, Aanand L Rai reflected on the years he worked on Zero with Shah Rukh Khan. The filmmaker said, "Those were the most memorable years (of working with him) in my film career. I have really enjoyed and learned a lot; not just about the film, but about life." The director further praised SRK for his generous and loving nature.

He added, "Shah Rukh sir is so generous and full of love. He pampers. He comes like an elder brother or a father to the entire unit. It was a great time and we had a fantastic time (working together). We missed on the film. I always feel that hum thoda sa chuk gaye; agar vo thik hota, toh puri film thik lagti. But then, it's fine. It's part of us and our life. But I miss being with Shah Rukh sir."

On this note, Aanand was asked if there was the possibility of their reunion for a film. To this, Rai added, "I have to work very hard to reach him (laughs). But yes, we are in touch. We keep on talking. I keep on sharing what I am doing. One day when I have a great story and am in a position, I will sit with him and narrate it to him."
