Actor Aamir Khan is set to commemorate a significant milestone in his life as he turns 60 tomorrow. In anticipation of this momentous occasion, he organized a meet and greet with the media at Taj Lands End in Mumbai, where he engaged with journalists and addressed their inquiries.

Aamir was inquired about his recent gathering with his friends and fellow actors, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. The media sought to know the topics of their conversation. Aamir humorously remarked that they spent their time discussing the media.

One journalist probed whether the actors talked about their upcoming milestone of turning 60 this year. Aamir responded, “Actually, we didn’t mention our birthdays at all (chuckling). I believe we overlooked it. We were engaged in various discussions, gossiping about all of you,” he stated.

On a more serious note, Aamir expressed that it had been a long time since they last met, and they enjoyed a wonderful afternoon together.

What’s next for Aamir

Aamir eagerly anticipates the premiere of his upcoming film, "Sitare Zameen Par." This movie serves as a sequel to his acclaimed 2007 directorial debut, "Taare Zameen Par," which garnered significant critical praise.

The new film will introduce an entirely original storyline and new characters. Its release is anticipated later this year.

In addition, a film festival celebrating Aamir's illustrious career and his body of work is set to launch shortly.

The festival, titled "Aamir Khan: Cinema Ka Jadugar," will feature screenings of notable films such as "Dangal," "3 Idiots," "Lagaan," "Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke," "Raja Hindustani," "Ghajini," "Akele Hum Akele Tum," "Andaz Apna Apna," "PK," "Dhoom 3," "Rang De Basanti," "Ghulam," "Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak," "Secret Superstar," "Laal Singh Chadha," "Taare Zameen Par," "Sarfarosh," "Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar," "Talaash," "Fanaa," "Dil Chahta Hai," and "Dil."

This festival, which aims to recognize Aamir's significant contributions to Indian cinema, will begin on his 60th birthday, March 14, and will continue until March 27 at PVR INOX theatres nationwide.
