In a recent interview with the BBC, the acclaimed star discussed his aspirations regarding the future trajectory of his film career, unveiling an ambitious plan for the upcoming decade. The distinguished actor and filmmaker, recognized for his discerning choice of roles, conveyed his desire to not only produce a greater number of films but also to broaden his acting repertoire.

Aamir articulated his aspirations by stating, “I intend to significantly increase my film production and provide opportunities for emerging talent. I plan to maintain my acting career, typically participating in one film every two to three years. However, over the next decade, I aim to produce one film annually and create a greater number of films that resonate with me.”

Aamir continues to be committed to his acting career; however, his emphasis on filmmaking seems to be increasing. He has expressed that a primary objective is to produce films that reflect narratives he connects with, yet one particular project distinguishes itself from the others.

Aamir expressed, "The Mahabharata is my dream project. However, it is an intimidating endeavour due to its vastness, and I fear the possibility of misrepresenting it. This undertaking carries significant weight, and as Indians, it resonates deeply with us; it is part of our heritage."

The Mahabharata, a monumental Indian epic, has enthralled audiences for generations, and Aamir's aspiration to adapt it for cinema reflects his profound appreciation for its narrative and cultural importance. Nevertheless, he recognized the formidable nature of the task.

"I am determined to do it justice; my aim is to instil pride in every Indian," Aamir elaborated. "Additionally, I wish to showcase India's rich heritage to the world. While I am uncertain if this project will materialize, it is a goal I am genuinely passionate about pursuing. We shall see."

Although the timeline is still unclear, Aamir's dedication to the project is apparent, and fans are keenly anticipating any news regarding the potential realization of this aspiration.
