Aamir Khan Recalls Brainstorming with Shah Rukh and Salman for Jamnagar Bash Performance

Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding celebration in Jamnagar was a glamorous event. It was unforgettable as it featured the three Khans of Bollywood—Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir—who even took to the dance floor and performed together. In a chat with Just Too Filmy, Aamir shared that they spent about 30 minutes coordinating their 'skit' before hitting the stage.

What Aamir mentioned

In the interview, Aamir shared in Hindi, “When I was in Jamnagar, Salman and Shah Rukh were set to perform together. Mukesh Ambani reached out to me and mentioned that everyone would be thrilled if I could join them. It was a last-minute request, and I agreed! We then spent about 30 minutes brainstorming the skit, almost like we were putting together a school play!”

He mentioned, "We gathered together and tossed around ideas, feeling really comfortable saying yes or no to each other. It was easy to say things like, ‘No, that’s a terrible idea,’ and that openness was great for the three of us. I even joked with Salman that if he didn’t speak up, I wouldn’t be able to respond! After our rehearsal, I told them we were ready to make a film together, and they were on board. With all our years in the industry, it’s clear the audience would love to see us collaborate."

During their act, Shah Rukh and Salman staged a playful fight while Aamir took on the role of the peacemaker. They then broke into a dance to the Hindi version of Naatu Naatu, Naacho Naacho from RRR, and later, Ram Charan joined in on the fun.

Aamir just celebrated his 60th birthday and will soon appear in Sitaare Zameen Par. Salman's upcoming film, Sikandar, hits theaters next week, while Shah Rukh is set to star in King.
