Bollywood actor Aamir Khan attended the Republic Day celebrations in Gujarat this year, where he was spotted near the Statue of Unity in Kevadia. Photos from the event captured him saluting Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in a moment of respect.

In a video shared by news agency ANI, Aamir Khan was seen dressed in an all-white outfit as he walked towards the area near the parade. The actor greeted fellow guests with folded hands and stood attentively, waiting as the announcements unfolded.

During the flag hoisting ceremony, Aamir Khan was seen saluting in respect and joining the other guests in singing the National Anthem.

Additional details: The official X account of Gujarat Information also shared a few pictures from the event. In one, Aamir was captured standing near the Statue of Unity, paying his respects. The caption read, “Aamir Khan at the #StatueofUnity – The Bollywood icon honours India’s unity at the Statue of Unity complex, showcasing India’s post-independence journey towards unity and celebrating the nation’s unbreakable spirit. A proud tribute on this special occasion.”

Aamir Khan has been actively promoting his eldest son Junaid Khan's upcoming film Loveyapa, a romantic comedy also starring Khushi Kapoor, which is set to release next month on Valentine's Day. The actor recently supported the film during an appearance on Bigg Boss 18.

Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, a remake of the Hollywood film Forrest Gump. He will next appear in Sitaare Zameen Par, a sequel to his 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par, slated for release in mid-2025.
