Actor Aadar Jain has addressed the controversy surrounding his recent "time pass" comments regarding a previous relationship for the first time. This remark was made during his pre-wedding celebrations with Alekha Advani and has drawn significant attention, particularly as Aadar was previously linked to actress Tara Sutaria. In an interview with the Times of India, Aadar expressed that his words were misinterpreted, labeling the resulting narratives as "false." He noted that the comments were distorted and misattributed to others.

Aadar says people ‘take liberty to say what they want’

Aadar emphasized the unfairness of the situation, stating that the discussions surrounding his remarks have negatively impacted the families of all parties involved, including his own, Alekha's, and Tara's. He remarked, "There are numerous false narratives and assumptions circulating, yet there are no fact-checkers. When individuals fabricate stories, it is the people involved and their families who suffer the consequences. From the outset, there has been a plethora of written commentary. Out of respect, everyone has chosen to remain silent. However, people feel free to express whatever they wish, which is unjust to Alekha, her family, myself, and Tara, along with her family. Clearly, none of it holds any truth."

Aadar says whatever he said was misconstrued

Aadar further clarified that he would not consider anyone else during his marriage. "There is no truth to what has been reported... My words were taken out of context, and a brief segment was used to form opinions. People have misrepresented my comments and directed them towards others. My parents instilled in me the importance of respecting my past, present, and future. This upbringing has shaped our approach, and we never intended for our words to be aimed at anyone. I would not think of anyone else when I am getting married. It is unfortunate that this has occurred, but there is no truth to any of it," he concluded.

Alekha talks about Tara

Alekha remarked that following Aadar's comment, it "created an entirely different narrative that was neither fair nor kind." She further stated, "Even Tara is aware that Aadar and I have been friends for a long time. This entire story lacks foundation." Aadar added, "Things do not work out for a reason, but that does not justify speaking ill of others."

In a video that generated considerable attention, Aadar delivered an emotional speech expressing his love for Alekha Advani. He stated, “I have loved her for a long time and have always wished to be with her, but I never had the opportunity. She sent me on a lengthy journey of 20 years filled with casual encounters. However, it was ultimately worth the wait, as I now have the privilege of marrying this stunning woman, who is like a dream. I love you, and the wait has been worthwhile. It’s a secret, but I have always loved her. I spent four years in casual relationships, but now I am with you, my love."

About Aadar's relationships

Aadar and Alekha were married in February of this year. Prior to this, he was in a relationship with Tara Sutaria, with whom he dated for several years before their separation around 2023.
