While the most celebrated individuals of the evening will receive their golden trophies at the Dolby Theatre, participants in the Oscars Pick'em contest have the opportunity to win a round trip for two to next year's Official Oscars Watch Party at the Academy Museum, along with an additional cash prize of $5,000. Aside from the Grand Prize, ten first-place winners will be awarded an Oscars Prize Park.

Here are the current frontrunners as we approach the highly anticipated event.

2025 Oscars Best Actor prediction, according to Pick'em votes

Before the official conclusion of the 97th Oscars competition, viewers have already expressed their preferences for potential winners. A significant 58% of the votes indicated support for Timothee Chalamet to receive the Best Actor Academy Award for his role in the biopic A Complete Unknown.

Chalamet outperformed his competitors, with Adrien Brody for The Brutalist receiving 31%, Colman Domingo for Sing Sing garnering 3%, Ralph Fiennes for Conclave obtaining 6%, and Sebastian Stan for The Apprentice securing 3%.

Demi Moore leads Best Actress predictions

In the ongoing competition for the Best Actress prediction, Demi Moore (The Substance) garnered 38% of the audience votes, placing her in a close lead. Fernanda Torres, for I'm Still Here, followed with 28%, while Cynthia Erivo from Wicked secured third place with 26%. Mikey Madison from Anora received 5% of the votes, and a mere 1% of the audience believed that Karla Sofia Gascon would win the Oscar for Actress in a Leading Role on Sunday.

Best Picture odds locked

The likelihood of The Brutalist securing victory at this year's Oscars significantly influenced the other nominees for Best Picture. With a leading probability of 33%, the film directed by Brady Corbet was favoured over other notable contenders, including I'm Still Here at 24% and Anora at 15%. The remaining nominees trailed with single-digit odds: Wicked at 9%, Conclave at 7%, Dune: Part Two at 6%, A Complete Unknown at 2%, The Substance at 1%, Nickel Boys at 1%, and Emilia Perez at 1%.

Oscar for Directing: Pick'em votes

In the realm of Directing predictions, James Mangold of A Complete Unknown has taken the lead, securing 44% of the votes. Following him, Brady Corbet from The Brutalist garnered 21%, while Sean Baker of Anora received 20% of the odds. Coralie Fargeat achieved 11% of the votes, and Jacques Audiard, the director of Emilia Perez, managed to obtain a mere 3%.
