Chandoo Mondeti's film Thandel, featuring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, premiered in theaters this past Friday. Meanwhile, Chaitanya is currently in Delhi with his wife, Sobhita Dhulipala, as well as his father, Nagarjuna, and mother, Amala Akkineni, where they had an audience with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A picture taken by MP Shabari was shared on X (formerly Twitter), showcasing the Akkineni family during their visit to the Telugu Desam Party office in Parliament. She noted, "Today, I met with the actor @iamnagarjuna garu and his family members at the TDP office in Delhi Parliament. @amalaakkineni1 @chay_akkineni."

Although the purpose of their visit was not disclosed, Nagarjuna's team later confirmed that the Akkineni family presented PM Modi with a book about Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR). The shared photograph captures Nagarjuna, Amala, Chaitanya, and Sobhita smiling as they pose with the Prime Minister.

For this occasion, Nagarjuna and Chaitanya chose to wear dark bandhgalas, while Sobhita Dhulipala donned a cream and gold saree, and Amala opted for a pink saree.

Recent work

In terms of recent projects, Nagarjuna was last featured in the 2024 Sankranthi release Naa Saami Ranga, which achieved notable success at the box office. He is currently engaged in the filming of Sekhar Kammula’s Kubera alongside Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna, in addition to Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, which includes a star-studded cast featuring Rajinikanth, Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Shruti Haasan, Reba Monica John, and Junior MGR.

Chaitanya's most recent appearances include the 2023 film Custody and the Prime Video web series Dhootha. His latest film, Thandel, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and co-starring Sai Pallavi, was released in theaters this Friday and has garnered mixed reviews. He has yet to announce any forthcoming projects. Sobhita was last seen in Monkey Man and Love, Sitara in 2024. The couple tied the knot in December of that year following their engagement in August.
