Ramin Setoodeh from Variety Magazine shared images of the snack boxes that were discreetly placed under each seat at the Oscars, unveiling their contents. The accompanying note stated, “Dear star/seat filler, I hope you enjoy these complimentary snacks. I endeavoured to include a gummy, but Disney declined the request. Wishing you a wonderful evening, Conan."

The host signed the note and included a small drawing of himself at the bottom. In addition to the photo of the snack box, Setoodeh noted, “There’s a note from Conan under every #Oscars seat along with a snack box containing water and a pretzel," as reported by The US Sun.

Numerous internet users expressed their appreciation for O’Brien's considerate gift to the Oscars attendees. This estimate aligns with previous comments made by Jimmy Kimmel during a 2022 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he discussed Wanda Sykes' upcoming hosting duties for that year's Oscars. During this conversation, Kimmel inadvertently disclosed his own hosting fee.

In a YouTube clip, the comedian stated, “I got paid $15,000 to host the Oscars. And there was one of me! You know it probably sounds like a lot for one night, but it's months of work leading up to it. You're getting robbed,” as reported by The US Sun.
