Razakar, featuring Bobby Simha, Vedhika, Anishka Tripathi, Prema, and Indraja in prominent roles, is a notable historical film. The production, led by Gudur Narayana Reddy under the banner of Samarveer Creations LLP, was directed by Yata Satyanarayana. Released in theatres last year, the film achieved considerable success. It is now poised for its global digital debut on Aha OTT, commencing January 24th. To celebrate this milestone, a press conference was held at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad.

Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy remarked, "While many films are created primarily for entertainment and profit, our intention with Razakar was to approach the subject with a sense of duty. We aimed to shed light on the atrocities perpetrated by the Razakars during the Nizam's reign in an engaging way. Future generations must grasp these historical events to prevent the recurrence of such horrors. Throughout the production process, I faced numerous threats, including those directed at my life and family. Nevertheless, I remained undeterred and continued with the project. The film has achieved an impressive 9.5 rating on IMDb, and I received recognition at the Goa Film Festival. Thanks to the steadfast support of our team and director Yata Satyanarayana, we successfully connected with our audience. I view this as my contribution to society, and the positive feedback from viewers has been immensely gratifying. I am confident that no other producer could have undertaken this project. We are excited to present this film on Aha for our Telugu audience starting on the 24th, and we appreciate your ongoing support."

Actress Indraja remarked that Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy faced considerable challenges in bringing Razakar to fruition. She noted that Director Yata Satyanarayana dedicated a decade to the development of this film, which serves as a compelling documentary highlighting the atrocities perpetrated by the Razakars. Indraja emphasized the importance of understanding the historical context of our region, asserting that the film is not designed to foster division between Hindus and Muslims, but rather to depict events as they occurred. She particularly praised the portrayal of a Muslim journalist in the narrative. Additionally, she acknowledged the contributions of the sixth Nizam, who significantly advanced the welfare of the populace. Indraja expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to portray Veeranari Chakali Ailamma, a true heroine who bravely opposed the injustices of her era, thanking the director for allowing her to embody such a pivotal character.

Actor Naga Mahesh stated that he portrayed Rapaka Ramachandra Reddy, a ruthless Deshmukh, in Razakar. He expressed his appreciation to Director Yata Satyanarayana for the chance to take on such a vital role in this meaningful film. Naga Mahesh highlighted the extensive research conducted by the director and acknowledged Producer Gudur Narayana Reddy's commitment to ensuring the film was made with a clear purpose. He encouraged audiences to view Razakar on Aha OTT and to lend their support to the project.

Director Yata Satyanarayana stated that the film Razakar has garnered an exceptional response not only in Telugu but also in Hindi, Marathi, and various other languages. Out of the 18 film festivals to which we submitted our entry, we were honoured to be selected for 15. The film was awarded the title of Best Indian Debut at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where I received a nomination for Best Director. Representatives from 75 countries expressed their admiration for Razakar at the Goa Film Festival, and 72 countries participated in its screening at the Jaipur Film Festival. They were all taken aback by the revelation of such a crucial chapter in India's struggle for independence. The film has achieved numerous accolades. Its theatrical release coincided with the summer and examination period, which limited attendance. We have received countless inquiries regarding its availability on OTT platforms. While we received offers from three OTT services, we determined that Aha was the most suitable option, given its subscriber base of 25 to 30 lakh Telugu viewers. We are excited to present the film on Aha, allowing the Telugu audience to engage with this vital aspect of history. I am confident that Razakar will attract a wide viewership on Aha. Aha has been a steadfast supporter from the outset, and the slight delay in its OTT release was due to film festivals and the Hindi release. I have 20 additional stories about heroes from Telangana's history that I intend to adapt into films shortly. Our movie endeavours to depict Operation Polo as comprehensively as possible within its runtime.

Art Director Tirumala Tirupati expressed his gratitude to the director and producer for the opportunity to contribute his artistic vision to Razakar. This film covers an extensive historical timeline, and he experienced profound satisfaction working on such a significant project. The direction team offered invaluable input and material support throughout the process. Upon completing this film, he felt such a sense of fulfilment that he was not inclined to take on another project immediately.
