On Wednesday evening, Deepika shared a close-up image of their Christmas tree on her Instagram account. The image prominently featured three Christmas baubles adorning the tree, each inscribed with the names of the family members: Ranveer, Deepika, and Dua. In her post, Deepika tagged Ranveer Singh and included the hashtag ‘gratitude.’ She captioned the image with the words, “(evil eye and red heart emojis) My heart is full (evil eye and red heart emojis).”

Earlier this week, Deepika and Ranveer made a touching gesture by inviting the paparazzi to formally introduce their daughter. For several months, the media had been eager for the couple to present Dua, and they finally accommodated this request by hosting the photographers at their home.

Despite this invitation, the couple expressed their desire to keep her photographs private for the time being, as they preferred to unveil her images at a more suitable moment. Deepika and Ranveer kindly asked the photographers not to take any pictures, emphasizing that Dua is still very young. They reassured the media that they would share her photographs at an appropriate time.

On Diwali, Deepika and Ranveer announced their daughter's name, "Dua Padukone Singh," accompanied by a heartfelt message: "Dua: meaning a prayer. Because she is the answer to our prayers. Our hearts are filled with love & gratitude." This announcement brought immense joy to their fans, who had been eagerly anticipating news about the couple's new addition.

Deepika and Ranveer, who married in 2018, shared the news of Dua's birth on September 8 through a heartfelt post, expressing their gratitude and excitement as they embraced the journey of parenthood.

On the professional side, the couple recently appeared together in Rohit Shetty's cop drama Singham Again, where Deepika portrays the formidable Shakti Shetty, also known as Lady Singham. Ranveer reprises his role from the 2018 hit Simmba, which was also directed by Rohit Shetty. He is set to appear next in Aditya Dhar's action film and Farhan Akhtar's Don 3.
