Purab Kohli on his past relationship

In a conversation with OTTplay, Purab Kohli was asked if his initial perception of a person changed after he met him/her. To this, the 36 Days actor revealed he fell in love with a girl, who turned out to be completely different from what he first thought about her.

Purab said, "Yes, I have dated a girl once. I was going through a phase in my life... and I have seen it happen with many people not just to me, where you fall in love with your perception of somebody, but that person is completely different. Mere saath aisa hua hain."

"I used to love somebody and we dated each other for a few months as well. But in those months, I realised jaise maine socha tha, ye ladki vaisi hain hi nahi - not in a good or a bad way, but in a different way. Different from what I was looking for. I had imagined in my head ki ye aisi hain, but vo vaisi nahi thi. I was also not being truthful to that relationship because I was also looking from a wrong judgment myself," he added.

Later on, they called it quits. However, Purab believes this is something that happens all the time. " We get into relationships, we imagine them a certain way and realise 'Oh, they're not like that'."

Purab Kohli says 'As human beings, we are all judgmental'

The actor further mentioned when we meet a person, we form a judgment about him/her within 30 to 40 seconds. That said, Purab believes once we get to know a person better, we realise that our perception of them could be wrong.

"We keep saying that 'I don't want to be judgmental' but the truth is that as human beings, we are all judgemental," he said and signed off.
