Bellam paala taalikalu is a special dish of Telugu people. This delicious dish is made during Ganesh Chaturthi. People believe that this dish is the favourite dish of Lord Ganesh.

Ingredients required
- Sugar 1 tablespoon
- Wheat flour 1 cup
- Cardamom 5
- Jaggery 100 grams
- Water 3 cups
- Salt to taste
- Grated coconut
- 1 tablespoon
How to prepare?
Take a vessel and add 1 cup of water. When the water comes to boil, add salt to taste. Add wheat flour little by little while stirring swiftly.
Mix well and switch off the stove.
Let the flour cool down. After cooling down, the flour hardens.
We have to make this as Talikalu. Take a plate and sprinkle wheat flour to it. Prepare the Talikalu as shown in the video.
Make the Talikalu with the now cooled-down flour little by little. You can make the Talikalu in any size you like.
Take a pan and heat it. Add 3 cups of water to it. Add jaggery to it.
Let the water come to boil and you see the jaggery melting. After the jaggery melts completely, add salt and grated coconut, while stirring it continuously.
Boil it for 5 to 10 minutes on medium flame. Add cardamom powder and Pala Talikalu.
Cook it for 5 to 10 more minutes on medium to low flame.
After 5 to 10 minutes, switch off the stove and let it cool down.
After cooling down, it will become hard.
Your Bellam paala talikalu are ready to be served to Ganesha!
