Ananya Panday's newly acquired residence, purchased last year during Dhanteras, embodies her unique character. Adorned with personalized elements, soft pastel hues, and inviting nooks, the actress aimed to create a modern home that exudes warmth, a sense of belonging, authenticity, and family connection. In an interview with Asian Paints for the series Where The Heart Is, Ananya provided a glimpse into her Scandinavian-inspired abode.

A Serene Sanctuary 

In the video showcasing her home, Ananya shared that her father spent his childhood in the very building she now occupies. She also offered a tour of her parents' opulent ₹10 crore mansion located just below her own. Regarding her personal space, the actress expressed that her preferred area for relaxation is the living room.

Her residence boasts a verdant balcony that invites nature inside, open shelving, a snug reading corner filled with baking literature, a designated area for her pet dog, Riot, and an open floor plan that allows ample natural light to flood the space. Additionally, the home features artistic pieces that double as lamps, warm lighting, and comfortable seating arrangements designed to accommodate gatherings with friends.

Furthermore, soft pastel shades such as pink and green contribute a contemporary and natural ambiance to her residence, enhanced by the presence of plants in every nook and personalized wallpapers featuring handwritten quotes alongside an eclectic recipe wall.

Secret walk-in closets

A striking feature of the actress's home is the flush door painted in pastel pink, which provides access to her room and walk-in closet. While she did not showcase her bedroom, she permitted a glimpse into her spacious walk-in closet. The design of the closet was inspired by a vanity van, complete with a large mirror and warm lighting. She mentioned that although she initially had reservations about the pink hue during the early construction phase of her home, she now finds it indispensable to her space.

Describing her walk-in closet with a concealed entrance as 'every little girl's dream,' Ananya expressed that it is the sole area in her home that incorporates a touch of her professional life.

Ananya's parents' home

Ananya also provided a tour of her parents' residence, belonging to Chunky Panday and Bhavana Panday, in the video, showcasing a space that genuinely embodies her personality and interests. During her upbringing, the actress's family lived in a joint household, where her grandmother upheld an open-door policy, fostering a strong sense of family connection.
