Upasana's mother, Shobana Kamineni, utilized Instagram to post photographs from the esteemed event. For this occasion, Upasana opted for a bespoke Dior suit. In her caption, Shobana remarked: “Each generation at Apollo contributes their distinct viewpoint, guided by our Chairman. Upasana was at Harvard yesterday, discussing the Apollo mission and her vision for the future of healthcare.”

"I presented the Apollo Hospitals case study at Harvard 30 years ago, and I am now immensely proud to see Upasana there." Upasana responded in the comments section with, “Love you, mom.”

In her Instagram Stories, Upasana shared additional insights from the conference. Her images were paired with reflections on the Indian healthcare landscape. One caption stated, “A robust healthcare system is not measured by the number of hospitals constructed, but by the number of hospital visits averted.”

In another image, a statement read, “India is establishing the global model for healthcare—where innovation intersects with impact.”

Through her Instagram Stories, she emphasized, “India’s greatest asset is its scale. With AI-driven predictive healthcare and our rich wellness traditions, we are not merely addressing India's needs—we are developing solutions for the entire world.”

The discussion emphasized a transition towards preventive measures, advocating for a shift from mere treatment to early intervention in the realms of chronic diseases and mental health. A significant point highlighted in Upasana’s address was the role of digital health, UPI-based payment systems, and telemedicine in facilitating access to quality healthcare in even the most isolated areas. This has attracted the attention of global investors, positioning India as a prospective leader in the health-tech and wellness sectors.

Upasana serves as the Vice Chairman of CSR Apollo Hospitals Group and possesses a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Regent's University London. Additionally, she has pursued studies at Harvard Business School, where she acquired essential business management skills. Furthermore, she holds the position of Managing Director at FHPL (Family Health Plan Insurance TPA Limited).
