Twinkle Khanna's recent Instagram update is sure to motivate you to blend candles, flowers, and culinary delights to design your own distinctive tablescape. The actress-turned-author shared a post on Wednesday showcasing a photograph of herself and her husband, actor Akshay Kumar, both dressed in white, alongside another image of an elegantly arranged table adorned with candles from her own brand.

'The perks of owning your own candle company'

Decorative napkin rings introduced a vibrant touch and a sense of playfulness to Twinkle's dining table, which was adorned with a centrepiece of fresh flowers arranged in unique vases, complemented by delightful treats such as cakes and chocolates. Twinkle Khanna incorporated candles of various heights and sizes to provide a gentle illumination, fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

In 2020, she established Tweak Candles, offering fragrances such as Joy, Spice Market, and Joy Gold, each priced at ₹850. This venture was launched in partnership with The Faraway Tree.

Reflecting on the advantages of owning a candle business, Twinkle shared in the caption of her latest post, “Not the butcher or the baker but certainly the candlestick maker :) What are the benefits of having your own candle company? After more than twenty years as a candlemaker, it remains a pleasure to explore fragrances and develop new designs. What are the small joys that brighten your life?”

Twinkle Khanna left films to become an author

In 2015, Twinkle Khanna published her inaugural non-fiction work, titled Mrs Funnybones. Following this, she released her second book, The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, which comprises a series of short stories. Her third publication, Pyjamas Are Forgiving, earned her the distinction of being the highest-selling female author in India in 2018, as reported by Nielsen BookScan India. In 2023, she launched her fourth book, Welcome to Paradise. Additionally, in 2022, Twinkle Khanna embarked on a Master’s program in Fiction Writing at Goldsmiths, University of London.
