Siddharth Chopra, the brother of Priyanka Chopra, wed Neelam Upadhyaya on February 7, 2025, in a traditional Hindu ceremony held in Mumbai. The wedding was a familial celebration, attended by Priyanka Chopra, her husband Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Notable guests included veteran actress Rekha, who graced the occasion in a stunning silver and gold saree.

Rekha was joined by Nita Ambani, Shloka Ambani, Priyanka's cousin and actress Parineeti Chopra, along with her husband, AAP leader Raghav Chadha, at the wedding. Rekha captivated attendees with her exquisite necklace, which intriguingly resembled the one Priyanka wore during her wedding to Nick in 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.

The layered necklace was truly remarkable, enhancing Rekha's overall appearance at Siddharth and Neelam's wedding. It bore a striking resemblance to Priyanka's wedding necklace from her Hindu ceremony with Nick. Designed by Sabyasachi Mukerjee, Priyanka's timeless piece was crafted from white gold and embellished with stunning pear-shaped diamonds.

Around the time of Priyanka's 2018 wedding, designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee revealed on Instagram that the creation of her look took 3,720 hours, designed to reflect the grandeur of Mughal jewellery. The jewels featured uncut diamonds, emeralds, and Japanese cultured pearls set in 22K gold, and included delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to impart a whimsical touch, as he noted.

He accompanied a wedding photograph of Priyanka and Nick with the statement, “As an ode to the resplendence of Mughal jewellery, her wedding jewellery was crafted with uncut diamonds, emeralds, and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold and had delicate tiny stars in uncut diamonds to give a sense of whimsy to an important traditional piece.”
