Prajakta Koli is preparing to wed her longtime partner, Vrishank Khanal. The couple recently commenced their wedding celebrations, which included haldi and mehendi ceremonies. The Indian YouTuber and actress shared images from these events on Instagram, showcasing the notion that joyful brides are the most beautiful.

For each ceremony, Prajakta donned a simple yet sophisticated ethnic outfit, embodying the ‘less is more’ philosophy in bridal fashion. During the mehendi ceremony, she wore a brocade silk kurta set, while for the haldi, she opted for an ivory embroidered sharara set. Let us analyze each of these ensembles.

The ivory sharara set for Haldi

Prajakta shared images from her Haldi ceremony, accompanied by a white heart emoji. The actress donned an ivory kurta paired with a crushed sharara set, complemented by an organza dupatta. The kurta featured spaghetti straps, sequin detailing along the hem, a tailored fit, and intricate zardozi embroidery, while the sharara boasted a crinkled design and a flared hemline. She completed her look by elegantly draping a gota patti-embroidered dupatta.

To enhance her outfit, Prajakta accessorized with a gold choker necklace, a mang tika, earrings, choti phool, kadhas, and ivory floral kaleeras. Her hair was styled in a fishtail braid, and her makeup included kohl-lined eyes, a brown lip colour, rosy cheeks, mascara-enhanced lashes, and feathered brows for a glamorous touch.

The mehendi looks

Regarding her mehendi ceremony, Prajakta opted for two outfits, one of which was designed by Anita Dongre. She wore a hand-embroidered skirt set crafted by women artisans from SEWA. The green ensemble featured a sleeveless cropped choli with a V neckline adorned with delicate floral embroidery. The bride-to-be accessorized this outfit with gold Chandbalis, a choker necklace, haath phool, and embroidered juttis.

With her hair tied in a centre-parted, half-tied hairdo, Prajakta chose pink lip shade, winged eyeliner, mascara-adorned lashes, a dainty bindi, flushed cheeks, and minimal eye makeup for the glam.

She ultimately donned a kurta set crafted from sindoori red gold brocade, adorned with intricate embroidery. To complement the understated outfit, she accessorized with gold earrings, opted for minimal makeup, arranged her hair in a half-tied style, and showcased a radiant complexion.
