Uorfi Javed serves as the ambassador for Rimple & Harpreet's latest campaign. The fashion influencer, celebrated for her distinctive style and daring fashion choices, has redefined bridal aesthetics through the stunning bridal couture ensembles she showcased in various images and videos shared on Instagram by the designer label.

Padmaavat and Heeramandi-inspired couture looks

Rimple & Harpreet, known for their costume designs in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat and Heeramandi, have drawn from their archives to craft a contemporary bridal couture collection. Uorfi donned four unique outfits from this new line. Let us analyze each look.

The lehenga inspired by Ranveer Singh's Alauddin Khilji

In one of the photoshoots for Rimple & Harpreet, Uorfi wore a vintage oxblood velvet lehenga, complemented by a custom bejeweled bustier and an embroidered topi. The embellished blouse features a plunging sweetheart neckline, a cropped hem, full-length sleeves adorned with intricate embroidery, and a tailored fit.

The lehenga skirt is embellished with elaborate zardozi work. Additionally, the ensemble was accentuated by a wool scarf, topi, statement rings, flowing hair, bold kohl-rimmed eyes, rosy cheeks, and pink lips, all of which contributed to a striking appearance.

Mixing traditions with a contemporary silhouette

For her second look, Uorfi donned a lehenga set inspired by Deepika Padukone's portrayal of Rani Padmaavati. Rimple & Harpreet dressed her in a vibrant pomegranate pink lehenga, featuring motifs derived from historical brocade fragments and Mughal inlay designs, paired with a crystal-embellished blouse. The heavily embroidered brocade dupatta, along with a detailed veil, enhanced her overall look.

In terms of accessories, Uorfi adorned herself with two necklaces, a matha patti, a nose ring, bangles, kadhas, haath phool, rings, and jhumkis. With her hair cascading freely, she opted for pink eyeshadow, defined brows, pink lips, flushed cheeks, a luminous highlighter, and mascara-enhanced lashes to complete her glamorous appearance.

The contemporary bride

Uorfi showcased a signature Gharchola saree by Rimple & Harpreet, complemented by a custom blouse embellished with semi-precious stones and handcrafted glass beads, paired with archival RAH pants for the campaign. She accessorized this look with two necklaces, bangles, a matha patti, a haath phool, and opted for minimal makeup.

In another ensemble, she wore a Satrangi Leheria lehenga, which is a revival of a rare seven-coloured Leheria technique historically crafted by master dyers for Rajasthani royalty. This outfit was layered with an archival Rimple & Harpreet cape blouse featuring marodi ka kaam and resham embroidery.
