What outfit did Kareena Kapoor choose?
Kareena went for a laid-back cotton printed suit for the Eid festivities. The outfit showcases an orange kurta embellished with vibrant floral designs in pink, yellow, and green. It also features side slits for added comfort. She completed the look with matching printed palazzo pants and a crinkled cotton dupatta that has a gold patti border.
To accessorize, Kareena added two eye-catching rings set with dazzling diamond crystals. For her makeup, she kept it simple and natural, allowing her radiant skin to shine through. Her hair was styled in a sleek bun, and she opted for feathered brows, kohl-lined eyes, rosy cheeks, glowing skin, and a touch of nude glossy lipstick to finish off her look.
Eid festivities
Today, March 31, people in India are joyfully celebrating Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr. This comes after the official sighting of the Shawwal 1446 moon on March 30, Sunday, in several regions of the country. For those who may not know, Eid-ul-Fitr marks the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month in the Islamic lunar calendar, and its date is determined by the sighting of the crescent moon. Since the Islamic calendar is based on the moon, Eid-ul-Fitr occurs about 10 to 11 days earlier each year, causing it to shift through different seasons over time.
