Actor Nayanthara and her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan, recently showcased their beautifully renovated studio in an interview with Architectural Digest (AD) India. The dynamic duo transformed a 7,000 square foot colonial-style bungalow into a home studio located in Chennai.

On March 15, AD India posted images and a video showcasing the home studio of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan on Instagram. The property has been renovated by designer Nikhita Reddy from The Storey Collective, embodying a blend of old-world British elegance and contemporary rustic aesthetics. It features high ceilings, expansive rooms, and glass facades that invite abundant natural light into the area. Explore Nayanthara's studio here:

Earthy interiors

A notable feature of the couple's home studio in Chennai is its earthy interiors, which are enhanced by a carefully curated selection of traditional artifacts, wooden sculptures, rustic elements, linen fabrics, and furniture made from rattan and teak wood. Situated in Venus Colony, a prestigious residential area in Chennai, the bungalow offers unobstructed views of the city.

According to AD, the house studio includes a conference room, a comfortable lounge area for entertaining guests and hosting gatherings, a spacious outdoor section for relaxation, an outdoor dining area in the backyard, a living room for receiving visitors, bedrooms for their team members, a meeting room, and distinct spaces designated for Nayanthara and Vignesh to conduct their meetings.

What's next for Nayanthara on the work front?

Nayanthara has an array of upcoming projects on the horizon. She is set to appear in S Sashikanth's film Test, which features Siddharth and R Madhavan alongside her. Additionally, she will reprise her role in Mookuthi Amman 2, the sequel to her successful 2020 movie Mookuthi Amman. Furthermore, she is involved in Mahesh Narayanan's period-action drama Rakkayie, which stars both Mohanlal and Mammootty.

In other news, Nayanthara and Vignesh were married on June 9, 2022. The couple is now the proud parents of twin boys, named Uyir and Ulag.
