Yamaha Motor India has revealed a substantial reduction in the prices of the YZF-R3 and MT-03 motorcycles. Effective from February 1, 2025, both models will see a decrease of up to ₹1.10 lakh, enhancing their appeal significantly. The Yamaha R3 will now be available for ₹3.60 lakh, reflecting a price reduction of ₹1.05 lakh. In contrast, the Yamaha MT-03 will be priced at ₹3.50 lakh, which represents a decrease of ₹1.10 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

This adjustment in pricing positions the Yamaha R3 and MT-03 more competitively within the market, making them better suited to their offerings. The company stated that this price adjustment is in line with its "customer-centric approach" and aims to meet the increasing demand for premium motorcycles. The R3 is now more affordable compared to the Aprilia RS 457 and is approximately ₹39,000 pricier than the KTM RC 390. Additionally, Yamaha is commemorating a decade of the R3's presence in the global market.
