Why the Honda Elevate ZX Variant is Winning Buyers Over

1 month ago | 5 Views

Honda Car India has recently reported impressive sales figures for the Elevate SUV, revealing that more than 59 percent of purchasers selected the top-spec ZX variant. Furthermore, approximately 79 percent of buyers chose the Honda Elevate SUV equipped with a CVT transmission.

These statistics were shared alongside the announcement that the Elevate has reached global sales of 100,000 units. Despite the Japanese automaker's delayed entry into the SUV market in India, these numbers indicate a positive reception for this latecomer. The Elevate is a product manufactured in India, and currently, it is the sole SUV in Honda's lineup. Below are some key highlight features available on the Honda Elevate ZX.

Honda Elevate: ZX Features

The Elevate SUV is equipped with a variety of features that compete effectively with its counterparts. It includes a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 7-inch semi-digital driver display, climate control, a wireless charging pad, and a sunroof, among other amenities. In terms of safety, the SUV is fitted with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Hold Assist, and additional safety features. The highest trim level is available with 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, LED projector headlights, a rear wiper and washer, a LaneWatch camera, and a rearview camera equipped with parking sensors. The safety-enhanced variants of the vehicle are designed with headrests and three-point seatbelts for all occupants.

Honda Elevate: Engine and transmission options

The Elevate SUV is available with a sole engine choice, featuring a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine. This powertrain generates 119 bhp at 6,600 rpm and delivers a maximum torque of 145 Nm at 4,300 rpm. Customers can select between two transmission options: a 6-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic transmission equipped with paddle shifters that replicate traditional gear changes.

Honda Elevate: Pricing and other variants

Honda Elevate pricing in India begins at ₹11.91 lakh (ex-showroom) and reaches up to ₹16.73 lakh (ex-showroom) for the highest-end variant. In addition to the top-spec ZX trim, the SUV is available in three other variants: SV, V, and VX. Recently, the manufacturer has launched the Apex Edition, Black Edition, and Signature Black Editions of the SUV, each based on various existing variants.
