Ferrari Purosangue is characterized by its high price and exclusivity. Merely having substantial financial resources does not ensure the acquisition of the first-ever Ferrari SUV, which remains the sole SUV in the brand's lineup to date. The renowned Italian automaker has shifted from its long-standing tradition of producing low-profile sports cars to embrace the SUV market. Although the company does not officially classify the Purosangue as an SUV, it has been releasing limited quantities of this model, making it highly sought after among affluent buyers. The challenge lies in the fact that demand significantly exceeds supply, often resulting in pre-owned Purosangue models being priced higher than new ones.

The availability of the Ferrari Purosangue is restricted to select countries, making it difficult to purchase a brand-new unit. In the United States, however, pre-owned models are available, albeit at a premium. The starting price for the Ferrari SUV in this market is $400,000, but due to the scarcity of new units, certain pre-owned models are fetching prices well above the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP).

A report from Carscoops analyzing classified listings in the U.S. revealed that several pre-owned Ferrari Purosangue units are currently for sale, with one particular model listed at $300,000 over the MSRP. Four of these vehicles are offered by Limited Spec Automotive in Miami, while a fifth is available through Lamborghini Broward in Davie. All five units are ready for immediate delivery.

Ferrari Purosangue: Not a depreciating asset

Automobiles are typically regarded as depreciating assets; however, certain models and machines have been observed to appreciate over time. This phenomenon is particularly evident in vintage vehicles and those produced in limited quantities that possess a strong reputation or an appealing allure.

The Purosangue has rapidly become one of the most sought-after Ferrari models, with the Italian manufacturer delivering over 7,000 units in the first half of 2024. Nevertheless, this figure represents only a small portion of the overall demand for the vehicle.

Equipped with a V12 engine, this two-door sports SUV demonstrates remarkable performance capabilities. However, its popularity is primarily driven by its distinction as the first and only Ferrari SUV. Even after two years of production, the Purosangue remains a compelling choice when compared to formidable competitors such as the Lamborghini Urus and the Aston Martin DBX.
