Volkswagen plans to eliminate its inventory of unsold Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus models starting in 2024 by offering substantial discounts. As of March 2025, the remaining MY2024 units of the Volkswagen Tiguan, Taigun, and Virtus will be available at significant price reductions, with discounts reaching up to ₹4.20 lakh on its passenger vehicles. Customers can benefit from various offers, including cash discounts, exchange bonuses, scrappage bonuses, and loyalty bonuses, depending on the specific variants. It is important to note that these incentives apply exclusively to the MY2024 models and do not extend to the MY2025 vehicles.

Additionally, the company has announced the upcoming launch of the Volkswagen Golf GTI and Tiguan R Line in India, with both models expected to debut in the early second quarter of 2025.

Volkswagen Tiguan

Volkswagen's premier SUV in India, the Tiguan, is currently being offered with the most substantial discounts among its three models. The Volkswagen Tiguan is attracting discounts of as much as ₹4.20 lakh, which encompass cash discounts, loyalty bonuses, and additional incentives such as scrappage or exchange bonuses. The manufacturer is providing a loyalty bonus of ₹50,000 for existing Volkswagen Polo owners who wish to upgrade to the Tiguan. Notably, these benefits for the Volkswagen Tiguan have remained consistent since February 2025.

Volkswagen Taigun

Customers interested in purchasing the Volkswagen Taigun can take advantage of benefits totaling up to ₹2 lakh. These advantages encompass a loyalty bonus, a cash discount, and additional incentives such as scrappage or exchange bonuses where relevant. Notably, existing Volkswagen Polo owners can receive a loyalty bonus of ₹50,000, which is exclusively available in March 2025. Furthermore, the manufacturer is providing benefits for the MY2025 Taigun as well, with offerings reaching up to ₹1 lakh for this new model year.

Volkswagen Virtus

The MY2024 models of the Volkswagen Virtus sedan are currently being offered with discounts reaching up to ₹1.5 lakh. Additionally, Volkswagen is providing benefits of up to ₹70,000 for the MY2025 Virtus. Furthermore, owners of the Volkswagen Polo can take advantage of a loyalty bonus of ₹50,000 when purchasing the Virtus.
