VinFast has introduced its premier electric SUVs, the VF 6 and VF 7, specifically targeting the Indian market. This launch signifies the Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer's foray into India. Currently, VinFast operates in 12 countries across three continents and is focused on broadening its global footprint.

The VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs showcase a design inspired by aviation, complemented by a cabin that resembles a cockpit. Additionally, the manufacturer provides an edge-to-edge moonroof as a standout feature.

VinFast VF7: Specs and features

The centerpiece of the exhibition for the automotive manufacturer is the VinFast VF 7, which is set to be among the initial offerings introduced in India by the company. The VF 7 is an all-electric five-seater SUV equipped with a 75.3 kWh battery pack, boasting a claimed range of 450 km on a single charge. Depending on the variant, the VF 7 is available with either a single or dual-electric motor configuration. The single motor variant delivers 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque, utilizing front-wheel drive.

In contrast, the dual motor variant features all-wheel drive and produces 348 bhp and 500 Nm of torque. Both configurations utilize the same battery pack, although the single-charge range differs, with the single motor variant achieving 450 km and the dual motor variant reaching 431 km. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 15-inch infotainment display and includes a Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite.
