
Vida V2 Electric Scooters Offer Benefits Up to ₹40,000 – But There's a Catch

Vida Electric has announced a promotional offer providing benefits of up to ₹40,000 on the V2 electric scooters when purchased through Amazon or Flipkart. These online platforms are also offering various incentives, including bank discounts, EMIs, cashback, and GST benefits.
The Vida V2 Lite is the most economical choice within the series. It comes with a 2.2 kWh battery, delivering a range of 94 km (IDC) on a full charge. This model is a new addition to the Vida range, alongside the Plus and Pro variants. The V2 Lite can reach a top speed of 69 km/h and offers two riding modes: Ride and Eco. Its features align with those of the more expensive models, including a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display.
In contrast, the V2 Plus is powered by a larger 3.44 kWh battery, providing a range of 143 km, while the V2 Pro boasts an even larger 3.94 kWh battery, achieving a maximum range of 165 km on a single charge. Both models in the V2 series come with removable battery packs, which can be charged to 80 percent in about six hours.
Vida V2 Specifications
The Vida V2 is equipped with a PMS motor situated on the swingarm, generating 6 kW (8 bhp) and offering a maximum torque of 26 Nm. Both the V2 Plus and Pro variants come with four distinct riding modes: Eco, Ride, Sport, and Custom. The V2 Plus can reach a top speed of 85 km/h, whereas the V2 Pro can attain an even greater maximum speed of 90 km/h.
Regarding its design, the Vida V2 shares a close resemblance to the V1 electric scooter, with only minor differences. It also introduces two new color choices—Matte Nexus Blue-Grey and Glossy Sports Red—enhancing its contemporary appeal. The electric scooter is supported by a standard warranty of 5 years or 50,000 km, while the battery packs are covered by a warranty of 3 years or 30,000 km.
Additional features include cruise control, keyless entry, regenerative braking, and other functionalities. Hero indicates that V2 owners can utilize the brand's extensive network of 3,100 charging stations across more than 250 cities nationwide.

Alongside the Rizta, iQube, and Chetak, the new Vida V2 will also face competition from the Ampere Nexus and the newest Honda Activa e:, which features swappable batteries.
