Toyota Innova Hycross MPV becomes pricier

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has discreetly raised the prices of the Innova Hycross MPV effective immediately. The Japanese automotive company recently marked a significant achievement by reaching one lakh unit sales of this model. Additionally, the waiting period for the Toyota Innova Hycross has notably decreased over the past few months. The price increase for this MPV ranges up to ₹36,000, with the lower variants experiencing a hike of ₹17,000, while the higher trims have seen an increase of ₹36,000. Currently, the lower variants of the MPV have a waiting period of approximately 45 days, whereas the higher trims are subject to a waiting period of around six months.

Trip to Uttarakhand to be costlier, vehicles will soon pay Green Tax

The government of Uttarakhand has announced the implementation of a green cess for vehicles entering the state from outside. The imposed green cess will vary between ₹20 and ₹80, applicable to both private and commercial vehicles. Notably, electric vehicles, CNG vehicles, and motorcycles will be exempt from this charge. Additionally, vehicles registered in Uttarakhand and those used for essential services will also be exempt. For three-wheelers registered outside the state, a fee of ₹20 will be levied, while four-wheelers will incur a charge of ₹40, medium vehicles will be charged ₹60, and heavy vehicles will face a fee of ₹80. The green cess will be applicable for single-day entries; however, vehicle owners may opt for extended validity passes, which will be priced at 20 times the daily rate for a quarterly pass and 60 times for an annual pass.
