The Skoda Enyaq electric SUV is poised to undergo a facelift, with the manufacturer having released initial sketches of the revised model on its social media platforms. As the brand's premier electric SUV, the Enyaq has been available for purchase worldwide since 2020. The forthcoming facelift is expected to introduce a mid-lifecycle enhancement to the vehicle, anticipated to be launched early next year.
Skoda Enyaq Facelift: Design Changes
The Skoda Enyaq facelift is set to debut with subtle modifications to its exterior and enhancements within the interior. These updates will apply to both the Enyaq SUV and the Enyaq Coupe, which are expected to launch simultaneously. Design sketches indicate a refreshed appearance influenced by the Vision 7S concept, showcasing the ‘Tech-Deck’ front, a component of the ‘Modern Solid’ design language also present in the new India-specific Kylaq. The updated front design includes a closed panel that resembles the butterfly grille found on the brand's internal combustion engine vehicles. Additionally, the facelift will incorporate slender LED daytime running lights alongside LED Matrix Beam headlights, with the ‘Skoda’ name displayed on the bonnet in place of the traditional logo.
Skoda Enyaq Specifications
The Skoda Enyaq is scheduled for a replacement in 2028, aligning the update appropriately within the electric SUV's lifecycle. The current model is offered in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive configurations, with the entry-level version delivering 146 bhp, whereas the high-performance Enyaq RS produces 335 bhp through its dual motor system. The more affordable variants are equipped with a 55 kWh battery, providing a range of 340 km (WLTP), while the premium models feature an 82 kWh battery, capable of achieving up to 566 km (WLTP) of range.
Skoda Enyaq Facelift India Launch
The Skoda Enyaq has emerged as one of the leading electric SUVs in its category across Europe. However, despite its growing recognition, the model has not yet been introduced in the Indian market. Skoda Auto India is anticipated to launch the electric SUV in 2025, with the updated version set to be released. It is expected that the Enyaq will be available in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
