The Porsche Macan EV has officially debuted in India, with a starting price of ₹1.21 crore (ex-showroom). It is available in three distinct trim levels: the Macan, Macan 4S, and Macan Turbo. Constructed on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE), the design of this electric SUV draws inspiration from the Porsche Taycan. It is equipped with a quad LED projector arrangement at the front and LED lighting at the rear. The dimensions of the Porsche Macan are 4,784 mm in length, 1,622 mm in height, and 2,152 mm in width. Depending on the variant, the weight of the SUV ranges from 2,405 kg to 2,480 kg. The vehicle is fitted with wheels ranging from 19 inches to 20 inches. Inside, the Macan EV can be configured to include up to three screens, featuring a 12.6-inch curved instrument cluster, a standard 10.9-inch infotainment system, and an optional 10.9-inch touchscreen for the passenger. The Macan EV offers a spacious boot with a capacity of approximately 480 litres. It boasts a maximum driving range of 631 km, supported by a 100 kWh battery pack that allows for DC fast charging at rates of up to 270 kW. In standard mode, the Porsche Macan Turbo Electric generates 576 bhp, with the potential to increase this output to 630 bhp and 1,130 Nm of torque.
