The Ducati Panigale V4 comes in two versions: the Standard and the V4 S. The main differences are in their suspension and wheels. The Standard model is equipped with fully adjustable Showa BPF 43 mm forks in the front and a Sachs shock in the back, providing great handling. Meanwhile, the V4 S boasts high-end Öhlins NPX front forks and an Öhlins TTX36 rear suspension, which can be adjusted electronically for a more dynamic ride. Plus, the V4 S has forged aluminum wheels that shave off 4 kg, bringing its total weight down to 187 kg. This weight reduction enhances its agility and overall riding experience.
Ducati has drawn from the iconic 916 Panigale for the design of the 2025 model. The 7th-generation Panigale V4 boasts a completely new body, revamped aerodynamics with winglets that boost downforce and stability at high speeds, and a diamond-shaped fuel tank that enhances rider comfort. Plus, the sleeker LED headlights contribute to its bold and contemporary vibe, improving visibility while keeping a streamlined aesthetic.
The 2025 Panigale V4 features a revamped frame and swingarm that lowers lateral stiffness. A significant update is the switch from a single-sided swingarm to a new double-sided hollow design. While some traditionalists might not be too happy about this shift, Ducati insists it boosts mechanical grip, stability, and traction. The updated chassis also optimizes weight distribution, leading to improved handling and cornering accuracy whether you're on the road or the track.
Ducati has outfitted the Panigale V4 with Brembo's Hypure calipers, which really boost its braking performance. These calipers are not only lighter but also provide improved airflow and come with a new pad retention system that enhances both durability and braking efficiency. The bike features dual 330mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc, delivering outstanding stopping power. Plus, riders can personalize their calipers with color choices like red, yellow, black, and gold, giving their superbike a unique flair.
The new Panigale V4 features a powerful 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that’s now Euro5+ compliant. It cranks out an impressive 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. This beast is matched with a six-speed gearbox and includes a quickshifter right off the bat. Not only does the revamped engine meet tougher emission standards, but it also provides better throttle response and greater efficiency.
