Ultraviolette has recently introduced its Tesseract electric two-wheeler in India, with an introductory price set at ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom). Following the announcement of its launch, the Ultraviolette Tesseract garnered over 20,000 bookings within just 48 hours. Currently, the booking fee for the electric scooter is ₹999, and interested customers can secure their booking by visiting the manufacturer's official website.
Steps to book the Ultraviolette Tesseract
Upon accessing the manufacturer's website, navigate to the vehicles section located in the top menu bar. A drop-down menu will appear, showcasing all of the manufacturer's current models, including an option to pre-book the newly launched Tesseract. By clicking on the pre-book button, you will be directed to a page where you must provide details such as your full name, phone number, email address, and delivery pincode. After completing this information, check the box indicating acceptance of the terms and conditions, and then click on ‘Pre-Book for ₹999’ at the bottom of the page.
You will then be taken to a payment gateway, and upon successful completion of the payment, your scooter will be booked. Options for variant selection and configurations will be available in the fourth quarter of 2025. Additionally, comprehensive specifications will be provided during the configuration process.
Ultraviolette Tesseract: Technology and Powertrain
Ultraviolette describes the Tesseract as the ‘most advanced scooter,’ equipped with cutting-edge technology, including a 7-inch touchscreen featuring the AI-powered Violette connectivity suite, NFC-enabled locking and unlocking, and over-the-air updates, among other features.
The electric vehicle startup has also released specifications for the Ultraviolette Tesseract scooter, which produces a maximum power output of 20.10 bhp. The manufacturer claims that the scooter can achieve a range of up to 261 kilometers on a single charge. Furthermore, Ultraviolette asserts that the Tesseract can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 125 km/h. The scooter will be available with three battery pack options: 3.5 kWh, 5 kWh, and another variant.
