
Ultraviolette Tesseract Electric Scooter Debuts in India with 261 km Range!

Ultraviolette Automotive has entered the electric scooter market in India with the introduction of the Ultraviolette Tesseract. This electric vehicle manufacturer, known for its eye-catching electric sportbikes in the F77 series, unveiled the Tesseract electric scooter on Wednesday, offering an introductory price of ₹1.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the first 10,000 customers. Following this initial phase, the price will increase to ₹1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Deliveries for this electric scooter are set to begin in the first quarter of 2026.
The electric scooter market in India has experienced significant growth in recent years, with numerous manufacturers, both established and new, launching their products. Ultraviolette initially focused on high-performance electric superbikes but is now shifting its attention to the more widely embraced electric scooter segment, where competitors such as Ola Electric, Ather Energy, and TVS have already established their presence.
Ultraviolette Tesseract: Design and Features
The Ultraviolette Tesseract features a sporty and aggressive design that aligns with the aesthetics of the Ultraviolet F77 superbike. It is available in several color options, including Pink, Black, and Sand. The scooter is equipped with centrally positioned LED headlamps on the front apron and includes a windscreen that enhances its sporty appeal. Additional design features comprise a 7.0-inch TFT display with navigation capabilities, 34 liters of underseat storage, and 14-inch wheels. Ultraviolette asserts that the Tesseract will introduce several globally unique features in this segment, including rear collision alerts, a handlebar with haptic feedback, and spatial awareness technology, among others.
Ultraviolette Tesseract: Powertrain
The EV startup has revealed the specifications of the Ultraviolet Tesseract scooter. This EV is capable of churning out 20.10 bhp of maximum power and claims to cover up to 261 kilometres on a full charge. Also, Ultraviolette claims the Tesseract is capable of running at a top speed of 125 kmph. The electric scooter is capable of sprinting 0-60 kmph in 2.9 seconds.
