
Ultraviolette Shockwave Gets 1,000 Bookings in 24 Hours, Introductory Price Extended

The recently introduced Ultraviolette Shockwave has garnered more than 1,000 bookings within a mere 24 hours following the commencement of the pre-booking period on March 5, 2025. This electric enduro motorcycle, the UV Shockwave, was launched with an introductory price of ₹1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the initial 1,000 customers. In light of the remarkable demand, UV has decided to extend the introductory pricing to an additional 1,000 bookings.
UV Shockwave Introductory Price Extended
The UV Shockwave is set to be priced at ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom) following the fulfilment of the initial 2,000 orders. This innovative electric enduro is constructed on a completely new Light Motorcycle Funduro platform. It is powered by an electric motor that delivers 14.5 bhp and generates 505 Nm of torque at the wheel. The manufacturer asserts a maximum speed of 120 km/h, with the capability to accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds. The weight of the electric bike is 120 kg.

UV Shockwave Specifications
The Ultraviolette Shockwave is equipped with a 4 kWh battery pack, offering an impressive range of 165 km (IDC) on a single charge. Utilizing the Supernova fast charger, the bike can achieve a charge level of 20-80 per cent in just 30 minutes. The suspension system features 37 mm telescopic front forks with a travel of 200 mm, complemented by a rear mono-shock with 180 mm of travel. This electric enduro is fitted with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoked wheels. For braking, it employs a 270 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc.
This model will be the first electric motorcycle of its kind to be launched in the country. It will be offered in two colour options: Cosmic Black and Frost White. Based on the unit presented at the event, the electric Enduro will feature a more streamlined digital console compared to the F77 and the new Tesseract electric scooter.
The Ultraviolette Shockwave is priced similarly to the new Hero XPulse 210 at ₹1.75 lakh (ex-showroom), excluding the ₹26,000 introductory discount. Ultraviolette plans to finalize variant selections for customers in the last quarter of 2025, and the ₹26,000 discount will apply to any chosen variant. Deliveries are expected to begin in the first quarter (January - March) of 2026.
