Ultraviolette has introduced the Tesseract, a new maxi-scooter designed for the general public. This model signifies the company's entry into the electric scooter market, following their success with the F77.

The Tesseract is touted by Ultraviolette as the most advanced scooter globally, featuring radar-based assistance, a dash cam, and the longest range for an electric scooter available in the country.
The UV Tesseract is built on an all-new platform and its styling is radical to say the least. While jet fighters inspired the design on the Ultraviolette F77, combat helicopters have served as the inspiration on the new Tesseract.
Constructed on a completely new platform, the Tesseract showcases a bold design. While the Ultraviolette F77 drew inspiration from jet fighters, the Tesseract's aesthetics are influenced by combat helicopters.
That said, the styling also seems to take inspiration from the BMW CE 04 with the resemblance being uncanny.
Additionally, the design bears a striking resemblance to the BMW CE 04. This electric scooter is notable for being only the second in its category to utilize 14-inch wheels.

Ultraviolette claims that the Tesseract can achieve a range of 261 kilometers on a single charge, powered by a 6 kWh battery pack. The entry-level model features a more modest 3.5 kWh battery, offering a range of 162 kilometers, while the mid-tier variant is equipped with a 5 kWh battery, providing a range of 220 kilometers.

The electric motor generates 20.10 bhp and can reach a top speed of 125 km/h, with the company asserting a 0-60 km/h acceleration time of 2.9 seconds. The Tesseract supports fast charging, allowing it to charge from 0 to 80 percent in under an hour.

Safety features include dual-channel ABS, traction control, dynamic stability control, four levels of regenerative braking, and 34 liters of under-seat storage.
The UV Tesseract has been announced at a highly competitive starting price of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1.45 lakh but the price has been dropped to <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>1.20 lakh for the first 10,000 customers.

Pre-bookings for the new UV Tesseract are now open for <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>999. Deliveries will commence from the first quarter of 2026.
