Triumph Motorcycles India has introduced the latest versions of the Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin RS, offering a fresh take on retro bikes with some solid upgrades. These British modern-retro motorcycles come with significant mechanical improvements but keep the same engine, design, and features. The 2025 Triumph Speed 1200 is available for ₹12.75 lakh, and the new Speed 1200 RS is priced at ₹15.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 keeps that classic vibe with its round LED headlight, teardrop fuel tank, and dual exhausts. They've also made some improvements to the bike's components, featuring 43 mm Marzocchi front forks and twin shocks in the back. According to the brand, this new suspension setup really boosts the handling.

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 keeps its classic look but now features a fresh Marzochhi suspension system. The engine has also been upgraded, delivering 103 bhp—5 bhp more than the previous model.

This improved handling is backed by a 1200 cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine that produces peak torque of 112 Nm at 4,250 rpm. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox that includes a slip-and-assist clutch. Plus, the new Speed Twin 1200 is equipped with cornering ABS and traction control for added safety. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, and the braking system consists of dual 320 mm discs in the front and a single 220 mm disc in the rear.

The 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 RS sports a similar design but has been tweaked for a more aggressive vibe. It features sportier ergonomics compared to the standard Speed Twin 1200, thanks to new handlebar positioning and rear-set footpegs. The bike's components have also seen an upgrade, now boasting fully adjustable Marzocchi front forks and high-end Ohlins rear suspension. For stopping power, it’s equipped with Brembo Stylema calipers. It rolls on 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, shod with grippier Metzeler Racetec RR K3 tires. Plus, the Speed Twin 1200 RS introduces Triumph Shift Assist, a first for this modern classic line.

Both the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 and Speed Twin 1200 RS are hitting dealerships nationwide. These new models add some excitement to the larger displacement modern-classic market, which currently has a few options.
