Unveiled at the Auto Expo 2025, the Hyundai Creta Electric is offered at a starting price of ₹17.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in five primary variants and can be equipped with two battery options: 42 kWh and 51.4 kWh. The model featuring the 42 kWh battery provides a range of 390 km on a single charge, while the 51.4 kWh variant boasts a range of 473 km. The larger battery variant delivers 168 bhp and 255 Nm of torque, and all versions of the SUV come with three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. The Hyundai Creta Electric is equipped with 52 standard safety features, including six airbags, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and hill driving assistance. Additionally, the higher trims include Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which feature lane-keeping assistance, collision warnings, adaptive cruise control, and more.

2 MG ZS EV:

Ranging from ₹18.98 lakh (ex-showroom) to ₹26.63 lakh (ex-showroom), the MG ZS EV is among the pioneering models in the compact electric SUV market in India. It is available in six different trim levels and is powered by a 50.3 kWh battery paired with a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor, generating 173 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. The ZS EV can be fully charged in approximately nine hours, and with a 50 kW fast charger, it can reach 80 percent charge in just sixty minutes. MG claims that the ZS EV has a range of 461 km on a single charge and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. The vehicle is equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, a 360-degree camera, and hill descent control. Furthermore, the ZS EV features seventeen Level-2 ADAS functionalities, including systems for frontal collision avoidance and lane assistance. It has received a five-star rating from the Euro New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) for its crash safety performance.

3 Tata Nexon EV:

The Tata Nexon EV is available at a starting price of ₹12.49 lakh, ex-showroom, and is offered in 10 different variants. Tata provides two battery pack options for the Nexon EV: the long-range variant is equipped with a 45 kWh battery, delivering a range of 489 km on a single charge. This motor produces 142.7 bhp and 215 Nm of torque, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 8.9 seconds. The mid-range battery pack features a 30 kWh battery, offering a range of 275 km on a single charge. This configuration generates 127.4 bhp of power and 215 Nm of torque, achieving the 0-100 km/h sprint in under 9.2 seconds. The Nexon EV is enhanced with a voice-assisted sunroof, leatherette seating, and front ventilated seats. Additionally, it includes a 12.2-inch infotainment system and a 10.24-inch driver’s display. In terms of safety, the Nexon EV is equipped with six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic parking brake with Auto Hold, electronic stability control, and hill assist features.

4 Mahindra BE 6: 

The Mahindra BE 6 is available at a starting price of ₹19.40 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes in five distinct variants. It showcases a dynamic and modern design, featuring signature C-shaped LED daytime running lights that echo the aesthetics of the ICE-powered XUV 3XO. This new battery electric SUV signifies the Indian manufacturer's entry into a specialized electric vehicle lineup under the BE sub-brand. Constructed on the INGLO platform, the BE 6 offers two battery pack options: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. The entry-level models utilize the 59 kWh battery, delivering 227.9 bhp and 380 Nm of torque. In contrast, the top-tier variant equipped with the 79 kWh battery pack produces 281.6 bhp and maintains the same torque of 380 Nm, boasting a claimed single-charge range of 683 km. The BE 6 is equipped with electric power steering featuring a variable gear ratio and adjustable regenerative braking with single-pedal driving capability. Inside, it includes dual 12.3-inch displays for both infotainment and the instrument cluster, complemented by a fixed glass panoramic sunroof for enhanced passenger experience. Safety provisions encompass six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), a blind view monitor, a 360-degree camera, and ISOFIX mounts in the rear seating area. Additionally, the BE 6 is equipped with a Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, utilizing five radars and one camera for enhanced safety and driving assistance.

5 Tata Curvv EV: 

The Tata Curvv EV is available at a starting price of ₹17.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and comes with two battery pack options along with three unique variants. This electric SUV is powered by a 165 bhp electric motor, which, when equipped with the 45 kWh battery pack, offers a claimed range of 501 km on a full charge. The more advanced 55 kWh variant is said to provide a range of 585 km on a single charge. The Curvv EV features a multifunction steering wheel adorned with an illuminated logo. Inside, it boasts a 12.2-inch floating infotainment display from HARMAN, complemented by a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Passengers can enjoy a panoramic sunroof and ambient lighting, while the e-SUV includes electric vehicle-specific features such as an electronic parking brake and V2V and V2L charging capabilities. Regarding safety, the Curvv EV is equipped with six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with i-VBAC, and all-wheel disc brakes. Additionally, it incorporates Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with 20 features and a 360-degree camera that includes a Blind Spot View Monitor.
