Recent spy images of the MPV's test prototype suggest that the 2025 Kia Carens will showcase a refreshed front end. This update is anticipated to include new headlight designs, revised LED daytime running lights (DRL), and a subtly modified front bumper. Despite these enhancements, the fundamental shape and profile of the Carens are expected to remain consistent. Additionally, we can look forward to newly designed alloy wheels and entirely new LED taillights.

Regarding safety, the Kia Carens is now equipped with additional features that align with its competitors. The MPV may come standard with six airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and parking sensors for both the front and rear. 

Furthermore, there is a potential inclusion of a 360-degree camera, along with a comprehensive array of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) in this iteration of the Carens.

The updated Kia Carens is expected to undergo a significant transformation in its features and interior design. Anticipated modifications include reimagined air conditioning vents, a refreshed center console, and new seat upholstery with a distinct theme.

Additionally, it is likely that the manufacturer will incorporate the dual 12.3-inch digital displays and the panoramic sunroof from the Kia Syros into the Carens model.

The forthcoming Kia Carens is expected to retain its existing mechanical specifications, likely utilizing the same powertrain as the current model. Presently, the Kia Carens offers three powertrain options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

Among these options, the naturally aspirated petrol engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission, while the turbo-petrol variant can be equipped with either a six-speed intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT) or a seven-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT). Conversely, the diesel engine is available with either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The cost of the Kia Carens is anticipated to experience a modest increase due to the incorporation of new features and enhancements in its design. Nevertheless, the pricing will remain competitive in relation to its market competitors. Kia, similar to Hyundai, has consistently prioritized offering advanced technology to its customers, even if it entails a marginally higher price. Presently, the Kia Carens is available at a base price of ₹10.59 lakh (ex-showroom), while the highest specification variant may reach up to ₹19.69 lakh (ex-showroom).
