Tata Motors Teases New EV Reveal: What Could It Be?

Tata Motors has released multiple teasers of its upcoming product over its social media channels. With the posts made in collaboration with Tata.EV, these posts point towards an all-electric model which is to be released tomorrow, March 20. This new offering is most likely expected to be the Tata Harrier EV which was also showcased by the car maker at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 held in Delhi.

The automaker currently commands approximately 70 per cent of the Indian electric passenger vehicle market. With the introduction of the Harrier EV, the company seeks to solidify its position in this segment further.

Tata Harrier EV: Styling

The Tata Harrier EV comes with a revamped blanked grille, a redesigned air dam, and an enhanced skid plate. Interestingly, the design patent shows off some distinct features that set the Harrier EV apart from earlier models. It includes a new look for the alloy wheels, sturdy door cladding, and lights mounted on the roof. However, it remains unclear if these elements will be standard in the final production version or available as optional extras.

Tata Harrier EV: Cabin and Features

The Tata Harrier EV's cabin is set to offer a range of features, many of which will be taken from the Tata Harrier ICE model. Expect to find an ADAS suite, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, touch-sensitive air conditioning controls, and dual digital displays on the dashboard that combine the infotainment touchscreen with the instrument cluster. Additionally, look forward to features like Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) and Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) capabilities, enabling owners to charge different electronic devices and other electric vehicles.

Tata Harrier EV: Engine and Driving Range

The Tata Harrier EV is set to come with a strong powertrain setup. This electric SUV is anticipated to provide a range of around 500 kilometers on a single charge. Additionally, it will come with a special package that includes a Summon mode and an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, which the company calls QWD.
