Tata Motors has unveiled the concept version of the Harrier EV, and the production model is anticipated to retain a design closely resembling that of the Harrier's internal combustion engine variant. Most design elements from the ICE-powered Tata Harrier are expected to be incorporated into the forthcoming electric SUV. However, as an electric vehicle, it will feature notable modifications, including a closed panel replacing the traditional radiator grille, a new set of alloy wheels, redesigned front and rear bumpers, and the elimination of an exhaust pipe at the rear.

2 Tata Harrier EV: Interior and features

The interior of the Harrier EV is likely to mirror that of the ICE variant, albeit with some modifications and alternative color schemes. The all-electric SUV is projected to include a sizable touchscreen infotainment system, potentially measuring 12.3 inches, along with a fully digital instrument cluster. Front-row passengers are expected to enjoy ventilated and power-adjustable seats, while the cabin will feature ambient lighting.

3 Tata Harrier EV: Performance and range

Tata Motors has previously confirmed that the upcoming Harrier EV will be available with a dual electric motor configuration, providing all-wheel drive capabilities. It is anticipated to offer battery pack options of 60 kWh and 80 kWh. The standard variant will include a front-wheel drive option with a single-motor setup. Although specific range details have not been disclosed, the Harrier EV is expected to deliver an approximate single-charge range of 400 km.

4 Tata Harrier EV: Price expectation and rivals

The anticipated price of the Tata Harrier EV is around ₹30 lakh. This pricing positions the all-electric SUV in competition with models such as the BYD Atto 3, the eMax 7, and the Mahindra XEV 9e.
