Tata Motors is actively preparing to introduce a range of special edition vehicles in the Indian market. Following the recent release of the Dark Editions for the Tata Safari and Harrier, the company is now set to unveil the Tata Curvv Dark Edition, which is anticipated to reach dealerships shortly.

This special edition of the Tata Curvv will be derived from the highest trim level of the standard coupe SUV, likely based on the top-spec Accomplished variant. It will retain all the features found in the standard Accomplished trim.

As a special edition model featuring a dark colour scheme, the Tata Curvv Dark Edition will showcase a unique black exterior finish exclusive to this variant. Additional design features will include an LED light bar, LED taillights, a shark fin antenna, dual-tone alloy wheels, a silver skid plate, and glossy black body cladding, among others.

Similar to the recently launched special editions of the Tata Safari and Harrier, the upcoming Tata Curvv Dark Edition will not undergo any mechanical modifications. It will be offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. The powertrain lineup will include a Hyperion T-GDi turbocharged petrol engine and a Kryojet diesel engine. Both engine options will be paired with a DCA gearbox, and a six-speed manual transmission is also expected to be available.

Tata Motors introduced the Curvv SUV in both internal combustion and electric variants, aiming to make the coupe SUV design more accessible in the Indian passenger vehicle market, which has predominantly seen this style in the luxury segment. With the launch of the Curvv Dark Edition, the automaker seeks to enhance its market appeal further.
