2 days ago | 5 Views
Tata Motors is preparing to implement its second price increase for 2025, which will affect both its conventional and electric vehicles. The company has already raised prices across its entire range of cars by 3 percent. Furthermore, Tata Motors has announced plans to further increase the prices of its passenger vehicles starting in April. Although the specific percentage increase for each model has not been disclosed, the company indicated that the adjustments will differ based on the model and variant.
In a similar move, Maruti Suzuki India, a prominent player in the Indian automotive market, has also declared its third price increase, effective from April 2025. Earlier in January 2025, Maruti Suzuki implemented a 4 percent price hike, followed by another increase in February, which ranged from 1 percent to 4 percent.
Tata Motors has explained that this price adjustment is necessary to help mitigate the effects of rising input costs. The upcoming price increase will affect not only internal combustion engine (ICE) and CNG vehicles such as the Nexon, Punch, Curvv, Harrier, Safari, Tigor, Tiago, and Altroz, but also the five electric vehicles currently offered in Tata's Indian lineup.
Tata Safari and Harrier Stealth Edition
Earlier this year, Tata introduced the Safari and Harrier Stealth Edition models, priced at ₹25.09 lakh for the Harrier and ₹25.74 lakh for the Safari, which is available in both 6-seater and 7-seater options. This limited edition is restricted to 2,700 units and showcases a Stealth Matte Black finish along with refreshed design features.
The Stealth Edition boasts a matte black exterior, R19 Black alloy wheels, and a distinctive Stealth mascot. The exterior design is further enhanced by dark-themed badging and a blacked-out front grille, contributing to its bold and aggressive appearance. Inside, the vehicles are equipped with ventilated seats in the first and second rows, presented in a Carbon-Noir Theme (with second-row ventilated seats available exclusively in the Safari), complemented by a black leatherette dashboard and door trims adorned with contrast stitching.
