Suzuki e Access was unveiled earlier this year at the Auto Expo 2025, marking the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer's entry into India's expanding electric two-wheeler market. The reception for this electric scooter at the event was mixed. Notably, it was presented concurrently with the Honda Activa e, another highly anticipated electric scooter in the country.

The Honda Activa e has begun arriving at dealerships in anticipation of its upcoming launch. In contrast, the Suzuki e Access is anticipated to be launched during the festive season of 2025, with a possible release window between August and September of this year.

Suzuki e Access: Key rivals

Suzuki e Access is set to become the inaugural electric two-wheeler introduced in India by the Japanese automotive manufacturer. Upon its release, it will face competition from models such as the Honda Activa e, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak, and the Ola S1, among others.

The Suzuki e Access, showcased at the Auto Expo 2025, features a design that is not particularly remarkable. It is offered in three distinct color variations and is equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster. Additionally, the scooter includes LED headlamps, LED daytime running lights, and an LED taillight.

This electric scooter is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 71 km/h. It is powered by a 3.07 kWh fixed LFP battery pack, which provides an impressive range of up to 95 kilometers on a single charge. The battery is coupled with a 4.1 kW electric motor that delivers a peak torque of 15 Nm. The e Access is designed to charge from 0 to 80 percent in approximately five hours.

For its suspension system, the Suzuki e Access is fitted with telescopic front forks and a rear swing-arm. The braking system consists of a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
