Suzuki Fronx recalled due to brake issue in this market

Suzuki Fronx has been subject to a recall in Japan due to a brake-related concern. The manufacturer has officially reported this recall to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, indicating that the issue stems from the improper tightening of the mounting bolts on the vehicle's rear brake caliper.
The recall affects a total of 1,911 units produced between September 13 and November 8, 2024. The rear brake caliper may experience insufficient tightening torque as a result of incorrect installation of the caliper mounting bolt. If the bolt remains in its current condition, it may gradually loosen, which could lead to unusual noises during braking or when driving over uneven terrain. In extreme cases, the bolt may become detached, compromising the vehicle's braking performance.
To rectify this situation, it is crucial to conduct inspections of the bolts on all affected vehicles. Should any bolts be identified as having inadequate tightening torque, they must be replaced with new ones and tightened to the specifications set by the manufacturer.
