Suzuki Motorcycle India achieved its best annual sales ever in FY2025, selling a total of 12,56,161 two-wheelers (including both domestic and export markets) in the past fiscal year. This marks an 11 percent increase from the 11,33,902 units sold in FY2024. The company maintains its dominance in the 125 cc scooter market, with the Access being the standout model driving sales. Impressively, the sales figures for the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer have doubled over the past four years.

Suzuki achieves record-breaking annual sales

Suzuki's domestic sales reached 1,045,662 units in FY2024, marking a 14% increase from 921,009 units in the previous year. During the same timeframe, the company exported 210,499 units, slightly down from 212,893 units in FY2023.

Reflecting on the annual sales, Mitsumoto Watabe, Operation Manager for Sales & After Sales at Suzuki Motorcycle India, expressed gratitude to customers, dealer partners, and team members for contributing to their record annual sales of 1.256 million units in FY2024-25. He noted that sales have doubled in just four years, showcasing the trust customers have in Suzuki products, as well as their preference for authorized service workshops and genuine parts. This growth was fueled by the introduction of the new Suzuki Access, with dealers and the team emphasizing a comprehensive product experience through test rides. Events like Suzuki Matsuri and regional mileage contests also helped strengthen connections with customers. As they enter the new financial year, Suzuki is excited to launch its first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-Access. Featuring Suzuki e-Technology, the e-Access promises long battery life, durability, reliability, smooth acceleration, and easy handling—qualities that customers expect from Suzuki. The company is eager to continue this journey with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Sales for March 2025

Suzuki achieved its best monthly sales ever in March 2025, moving 125,930 units, which is a 21% increase from the 103,669 units sold in March 2024. Domestic sales made up a significant portion, with 105,736 units sold last month, reflecting a 23% rise from the 86,164 units sold in March of the previous year. Meanwhile, exports reached 20,194 units, showing a slight increase from the 17,505 units shipped during the same month last year.

In the last quarter of FY2025, Suzuki launched the new-generation Access, which is expected to be a major growth driver in the years ahead. The company also introduced the Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 Flex Fuel motorcycle, designed to run on a higher ethanol blend. Additionally, Suzuki has updated its entire product lineup to comply with the new OB-2B emission standards and is preparing to launch the Suzuki e-Access, marking its entry into the electric mobility market.
