15 days ago | 5 Views
Ducati has taken cues from its legendary 916 Panigale in the development of the 2025 model. The seventh-generation Panigale V4 features entirely redesigned bodywork, enhanced aerodynamics with winglets that boost downforce and stability at high speeds, and a newly designed diamond-patterned fuel tank that enhances ergonomics. Additionally, the slimmer LED headlamps add to its aggressive and streamlined appearance while also improving visibility.
The 2025 Panigale V4 is equipped with an entirely redesigned frame and swingarm that exhibits reduced lateral stiffness. A significant alteration is the introduction of a new double-sided hollow swingarm, which may not be well-received by purists. According to Ducati, this innovation enhances mechanical grip, stability, and traction. Additionally, the new chassis is engineered to redistribute mass, thereby improving handling and cornering performance in both road and track scenarios.
Ducati has equipped the Panigale V4 with Brembo's Hypure calipers to enhance braking efficiency. These calipers are designed to be lighter, offer improved ventilation, and incorporate a new pad retention system that contributes to increased durability and braking effectiveness. The Panigale V4 is also fitted with dual 330mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc, ensuring outstanding stopping power. Additionally, customers have the option to customize the calipers with color selections including red, yellow, black, and gold, allowing for a personalized touch to their superbike.
At the heart of the Panigale V4 lies a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, which meets Euro5+ standards. This remarkable engine generates an impressive 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm. It is paired with a six-speed transmission and includes a quickshifter as a standard feature. The updated engine not only adheres to stricter emission regulations but also enhances throttle response and overall efficiency.
The Ducati Panigale V4 is offered in two distinct models: the Standard and the V4 S. The primary differences between these models lie in their suspension systems and wheel designs. The Standard model features fully adjustable Showa BPF 43 mm forks at the front and a Sachs shock absorber at the rear, providing excellent handling capabilities. In contrast, the V4 S is equipped with premium Öhlins NPX forks in the front and an electronically controlled rear suspension, known as the TTX36, which allows for dynamic adjustments. Additionally, the V4 S is fitted with forged aluminum wheels, resulting in a weight reduction of 4 kg, bringing its total weight to 187 kg. This combination enhances its agility and overall riding performance.
