Skoda showcased its Elroq RS compact SUV at the Milan Design Week 2025. It follows Skoda's Modern Solid design strategy and gets sporty touches all around, making it stand out from the standard Elroq.

Skoda Elroq: Design

The Elroq RS stands out with its eye-catching Hyper Green exterior, reminiscent of the latest Skoda Octavia RS unveiled at the Auto Expo. This vibrant hue is enhanced by a newly designed front bumper, a blacked-out ‘SKODA’ emblem, roof rails, ORVMs, and RS branding positioned above the front fenders. Additionally, the SUV is equipped with tail-lights featuring ‘Skoda Crystal Lighting’ engraving, which elevates its luxurious appearance. This sporty compact SUV offers a choice between 21-inch or 20-inch alloy wheels and is fitted with a sport suspension that lowers the vehicle by 15mm at the front and 10mm at the rear.

Skoda Elroq: Interior and features

The interior of the Elroq RS incorporates more athletic features, such as 'RS' branding on the steering wheel and sport-style seating. Although Skoda has not revealed comprehensive details about the interior, it is anticipated to have a dark headliner and a cockpit designed with the driver in mind, similar to other RS variants. Expected premium technological enhancements include a 13-inch central infotainment display, a head-up display, ambient lighting, and a wireless charging station.

Skoda Elroq: Aerodynamics

The Elroq RS is equipped with aerodynamically optimized alloy wheels that include a body-colored strip, complementing its striking design. These wheels, reminiscent of those found on the Skoda Vision 7S concept, provide a sporty appearance while improving aerodynamic efficiency. The premium variant will offer an option for 21-inch wheels, which are presently available on standard Elroq models in international markets.

Skoda Elroq: Powertrain, performance and battery

The Elroq RS is equipped with two electric motors that generate a combined output of 250 kW. This compact SUV boasts an estimated range of approximately 555 km and can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h. Featuring all-wheel drive technology, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds, positioning it as a formidable competitor in the electric SUV market.

Skoda Elroq: India launch imminent?

Skoda India is contemplating the introduction of its inaugural electric vehicle by September 2025; however, the company has yet to officially announce if the Elroq RS will be included in this lineup. Potential models for the Indian market may consist of the Skoda Enyaq, the Enyaq Coupe, and the Elroq. Nevertheless, given Skoda's emphasis on performance-driven vehicles, such as the forthcoming Octavia RS, the Elroq RS might be launched at a later date, contingent upon several considerations.
