At the ongoing Bharat Mobility Global Expo Auto Expo 2025, Skoda Auto India made a significant impact by unveiling five new products in addition to its existing model range in India, which includes the Skoda Kylaq. A prominent feature of the Skoda pavilion this year was the Vision 7S concept, initially revealed globally in 2022, marking the debut of the company’s ‘Modern Solid’ design language.
Petr Janeba, the brand director of Skoda Auto India, announced that the production version of the Skoda Vision 7S is scheduled for launch in the latter part of 2026, with its production model set to debut in India in 2027. The concept vehicle boasts a claimed range exceeding 600 km under the WLTP cycle and is powered by an 89 kWh battery pack. Its interior is crafted from sustainable materials and incorporates interactive surfaces.
Skoda Vision 7S: Design
The Skoda Vision 7S concept showcases a Tech-Deck Face at its front, featuring a robust underbody and streamlined roof lines. The front design incorporates the iconic Skoda line, while the updated Skoda wordmark replaces the traditional picturemark, enhanced by a new ambient light strip that spans the full width of the vehicle. The well-known Skoda grille has been reimagined, appearing notably flatter and wider compared to its predecessor.
In the Vision 7S concept, the headlights are positioned more outwardly and are organized in a dual-row configuration, creating a ‘T’ shape with the four-eye light cluster. Similarly, the rear LED lights are also designed in a ‘T’ formation.

Skoda Vision 7S: Cabin and features
The cabin of the electric concept vehicle is designed to be spacious and features a range of sustainable and minimalist materials. The interior, which is free from leather, primarily utilizes materials sourced sustainably and is noted for its durability; for instance, the flooring is constructed from recycled tires. The interior trim is finished with a sleek, matte metallic coating.
The fabrics used within the interior consist entirely of recycled polyester yarns. Additionally, the structure of the concept car's menu and infotainment systems has been optimized for user-friendliness. The vehicle offers two distinct interior configurations tailored for different scenarios: Driving and Relaxing. In Driving mode, all controls are conveniently positioned for the driver, whereas in Relaxing mode, the steering wheel and instrument cluster retract away from the driver and passengers, thereby enhancing the available space.
